CV

Cédric Vonesch was born on April 14, 1981 in Obernai, France. He holds a Master's and a PhD degree, both from EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. He conducted his doctoral research at EPFL's Biomedical Imaging Group, under the direction of Prof. Michael Unser. He then joined the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Princeton University for a postdoctoral position. Subsequently he returned to EPFL's Biomedical Imaging Group for another postdoctoral position. His most recent appointments were with the Swiss National Science Foundation and the University of Bern, Switzerland.

Cédric Vonesch's research interests revolve around mathematical imaging, algorithm design and biomicroscopy. In addition most of his work has a strong connection with wavelets.
